School Holiday

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, school will be closed Monday, January 21st.

Welcome!

I would like to welcome you to Mrs. Parker's 2018-19 classroom blog.  This online tool will be used not only in class, but can be accessed at home as well.  Weekly warm-ups will be posted on the site and projected on the board every morning when you come to class.  You will follow the directions posted and answer all questions and activities in your daily journal.
Parents, you may follow along to see what your students are learning.  Supplemental links will be provided on the right hand side to aid in the continuation of learning.  While participation in the additional resources is not mandatory, it is beneficial to utilize the programs.
Classroom notes for students and parents will also be posted on this blog.  All parents and students will have access to this page.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to call or leave a message.

Welcome to the class!

        4)  The world
* Once your group has finished, compare and contrast your answers and create a Venn Diagram comparing all of the answers *

Friday -
This weekend will be a three day weekend to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.  If you could do anything you wanted to this weekend, what would you wish to do?  Write about what you would do each day of this weekend using complete sentences and correct punctuation.  Take your time and concentrate on sentence structure and handwriting.  Then, create an illustration of one activity a day.
